Technically, Bali is made up of four islands: the main island of Bali and the islands of Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, and Nusa Ceningan, which are located in the Klungkung district in eastern Bali.

Canggu is undoubtedly Bali’s busiest tourist destination right now. While areas like Uluwatu and Seminyak attract significantly more holidaymakers, digital nomads, long-term travellers, and expatriates, Canggu’s popularity is unprecedented. It is the name of the stretch of coastline between Seminyak and Seseh, and the area is home to several traditional villages and neighbourhoods, each with their own unique character: Pererenan, Batu Bolong, Berawa, and Batu Belig are just a few.
