The Erasmus EMAI scholarship initiative for international students is provided by four universities. Who is it intended for?
EMAI admits students who have a solid foundation in computer science, software engineering, and applied mathematics. The primary suggested entry profiles are individuals holding a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field, including Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics, or equivalent qualifications.

Advantages of the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship 2025:
The EMAI scholarship initiative will provide 15 students with complete Erasmus Mundus Scholarships (EMS) for a duration of two years, while an additional 15 students will receive full tuition fee waivers only. A student who is admitted will not need to pay any tuition or fees related to academics, which includes enrollment, insurance, or title costs.

The EMS offers a monthly stipend of €1400 for 24 months that is not subject to taxation. This includes all costs associated with participation, such as tuition fees, comprehensive insurance, and other essential expenses linked to the course. It also encompasses assistance for travel, installation costs, and a living stipend for the full length of the EMAI program.
Participation in all EMAI program activities will be free of charge.
Health insurance for a period of two years will be included.
Criteria for Eligibility for the Erasmus Mundus EMAI Scholarship in Europe:
Individuals submitting applications:
Should have finished a first cycle study program in areas related to information or communication technologies, engineering, physics, mathematics, and statistics.
Should have finished mathematical courses totaling at least 12 ECTS credits in areas such as calculus, linear algebra, logic, discrete mathematics, combinatorics, probability and statistics, information theory, graph theory, and number theory.
Should have finished programming courses totaling at least 12 ECTS credit points, covering subjects such as programming paradigms, algorithms, and data structures.
Should have finished computing science or computer engineering classes totaling at least 12 ECTS credits in subjects such as cryptography, security, computer networks, computer hardware, theoretical computer science, or any other related field.
Must be from the approved list of countries.
Must not have previously been awarded an EMJM scholarship or an Erasmus Mundus Master Course/Joint Doctorate scholarship.
