There are numerous reasons why someone could choose to take a vacation. After a year of demanding activities and aspirations, certain holidays are undoubtedly suited for relaxing. Tourism is rarely pursued to improve others’ lives. Most holidays are for medical or economic reasons. One such rarity is STEP-OUT 2024 in South Thailand. STEP OUT is a short-term program that provides practical mission training and experiences hands-on missions in Asia.

This is an opportunity to do some community service and charity work.

Participants are to be lovers/followers of Jesus. No experience or skill is required because this may be your first time! Additionally, this programme is meant for you if you have a heart for Asia but are unsure where to begin.

STEP OUT‘s bilingual conference in Chinese and English is another unique feature! Chinese interpretation will be available during the conference, so we warmly welcome those Chinese speakers who find it challenging to communicate in English.

Participants are advised to understand English communication as the team speaks English as a common language.

Following the conference, you will journey to outreach country with your teams. Depending on the educational programme, you will participate in a local mission. Those passionate about using their skills and abilities to improve people’s lives are most welcome.

You will be going to a non-tourist location. As it is a university area, you will encounter many students during your visit. Additionally, we collaborate with a nearby elementary school, which allows us to plan events for the children. Many do not speak other languages as a second language, which is not a tourist destination.

The conference will take place in Taiwan from July 27th to 31st. It will feature main sessions, interaction sessions, team-building, practical workshops, cross-cultural awareness, GO night, prayer night, and community night. The conference will conclude on July 30th. The participants will continue their outreach activities, including teaching English in schools, running with youth, and participating in a Christian student club.

There will be simple accommodation, and local food will be provided. However, any particular need should be communicated prior.

You should arrange your flight to Taoyuan International Airport(TPE), Taiwan – , Outreach Country(Bangkok DMK airport, – Nakhon Si Thammarat)- home country. Your local OM office will provide full details of the travel arrangements.
